50 Cent is getting a much clearer turn as Balrog in the latest Street Fighter trailer.
Paramount released a new trailer on Sept. 1 for the live-action adaptation, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson's version of the boxer is no longer just a name on the cast list. The footage shows Balrog in the ring with Ken Masters, played by Noah Centineo, and gives the character another quick appearance outside the fight setting.
Complex highlighted the new Balrog footage after the trailer arrived. Legendary's official film page separately confirms 50 Cent as part of the cast and lists the movie's theatrical release for Oct. 16, 2026.
Balrog gets a real trailer moment
Street Fighter has a crowded cast, so the useful development here is that the latest trailer gives 50's character an identifiable action beat. Balrog is one of the franchise's most recognizable fighters, and the footage puts him directly into the tournament world rather than treating the casting as a cameo announcement.
