A Dallas jury has convicted Kewon White of capital murder in the 2020 killing of rapper MO3.
The verdict came Friday, September 4, after roughly three hours of jury deliberations, according to CBS Texas.
Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced White to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
MO3, whose legal name was Melvin Noble, was killed on November 11, 2020, after he was chased on Interstate 35E in Dallas and shot.
Prosecutors argued that White had been hired to carry out the killing by Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Conway. Conway was charged in 2025 in an alleged murder-for-hire plot connected to MO3's death.
That part of the case needs careful wording.
White's conviction is now a verdict. The allegations against Conway remain allegations unless and until they are resolved in his own proceedings. RRL is not treating one defendant's conviction as a conviction of another person.
NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth also reported the guilty verdict and life-without-parole sentence, describing White as the first of three men accused in the alleged murder-for-hire scheme to go to trial.
The conviction marks a major legal development nearly six years after MO3's death.
Future proceedings connected to the case may produce additional updates, but this story should remain anchored to what was decided in court on September 4: White was found guilty of capital murder and sentenced to life without parole.
