Pusha T is already talking about what comes after Clipse’s comeback run — but he is leaving the exact project labels intentionally loose.
During a Sept. 3 appearance on The Breakfast Club with Fam-Lay and Antonio Dowe, Pusha was asked about returning to the studio after posting that he was back working. His answer was broad: the camp is working on “everything,” he said, with one project already finished and another currently in progress.
That is the confirmed part. What he did not do is cleanly announce a release date, title or whether the finished project is a Pusha solo album, another Clipse album or something else.
Clipse and Pharrell are still in the picture
The conversation came after Clipse’s return with Let God Sort Em Out, the duo’s first album in 15 years. Pharrell Williams executive-produced that record and remains part of the new work Pusha described.
Fam-Lay said the Clipse material they are hearing is strong, while Pusha kept answering questions about solo versus group work with some version of “everything.” When the conversation turned to Malice’s solo plans, Push also suggested listeners could get one of those projects.
The safest read is not “Pusha announced a solo album.” It is that the Virginia camp is actively recording across multiple lanes and at least one project has reached a finished state.
The comeback is turning into a run
That matters because Let God Sort Em Out did not land like a one-off reunion. Clipse re-entered the center of rap conversation, earned major Grammy recognition and gave Pusha and Malice a reason to keep the partnership active.
The Sept. 3 interview suggests they are doing exactly that.
There is still a large gap between “the music is done” and “the project is announced.” Track lists can change. Samples and features can delay releases. Labels and distributors can choose different windows. Artists can also sit on finished music while another campaign runs.
So RRL is keeping the headline where Pusha kept it: work is happening, one project is done, another is being made, and Pharrell remains connected to the current Clipse creative cycle.
What to watch next
A title, format or release date would turn this from studio news into a formal project announcement. Until then, the most notable development is the speed of the follow-up.
Clipse spent years outside the album cycle. Now, after finally returning, Pusha is talking like the studio door never closed.
