Billboard describes the single as a top-20 Hot 100 hit and says Yung Miami has a new album on the way, with the music reflecting what she called a different headspace.
For the last few years, the question around her has been simple: what does Yung Miami sound like when City Girls is no longer the frame around every move? One song cannot answer all of that, but “Spend Dat” is the first solo record in this stretch that feels like it is giving the next chapter its own center of gravity.
Her official site currently puts the record front and center alongside her live dates. No final album title or release date is confirmed in the sources RRL reviewed, so there is no reason to manufacture a rollout calendar that does not exist yet.
